The MCP2551 is a high-speed CAN, fault-tolerantdevice that serves as the interface between a CANprotocol controller and the physical bus. The MCP2551device provides differential transmit and receivecapability for the CAN protocol controller, and is fullycompatible with the lSO-11898 standard, including 24Vrequirements.lt will operate at speeds ofup to 1 Mb/s.
